Terms of Services

 


1. Appointments & Booking

  • All appointments must be booked with your full name and a valid phone number or email.

  • A valid payment method may be required to secure your booking.

  • Please arrive 5 minutes early to settle in and begin your service on time.


2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or appointment changes.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a 50% late cancellation fee.

  • No-shows will be charged 100% of the service value.

  • Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in restricted booking privileges.


3. Late Arrivals

  • Arrivals 10+ minutes late may result in a shortened service or rescheduling.

  • If we cannot complete your service due to lateness, it will be treated as a late cancellation.


4. Payment, Pricing & Promotions

  • Prices are listed in CAD and may change without notice.

  • Promotions cannot be combined with other offers unless stated otherwise.

  • Nail art, removal, French, Gel-X, and specialty work may incur additional fees.

  • HST applies as required under Ontario law.


5. Children & Guests

To maintain a calm environment:

  • Children may accompany adults only if they are receiving a service.

  • Additional guests are not permitted in the service area unless approved by staff.


6. Cleanliness & Health

  • If you have open wounds, infections, or contagious conditions, we may not be able to perform your service.

  • Please inform us of any allergies or sensitivities beforehand.

  • All tools and equipment are sanitized according to Toronto Public Health standards.


7. Service Satisfaction

  • If you have concerns, please notify us before leaving the salon or contact us within 72 hours.

  • We do not provide refunds for services, but we are happy to make reasonable adjustments to ensure your satisfaction.


8. Refund Policy

  • Services are non-refundable.
    The time, products, and labour involved in personal services cannot be undone once completed.

  • If you experience an issue after your appointment, please contact us within 72 hours so we can address your concerns with a complimentary touch-up or adjustment where appropriate.

  • Retail products may be eligible for exchange only if unused, unopened, and returned within 7 days with proof of purchase.

  • Gift cards are final sale and non-refundable.


9. Nail Removal & Prior Work

  • Removal of previous products is not included unless stated.

  • We may decline removal of materials that appear unsafe or incompatible.


10. Deposits

  • Certain services may require a deposit.

  • Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred once with at least 24 hours’ notice.


11. Drinks & Alcohol Service

  • Complimentary coffee, tea, or wine is available to guests 19+.

  • ID may be requested.

  • A full cocktail menu launches in January.

  • We reserve the right to refuse alcohol service for safety reasons.


12. Personal Belongings

Hue Atelier is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items. Please keep valuables with you at all times.


13. Gift Cards

  • Gift cards are final sale and cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash.

  • They may be used toward services or retail.

  • Lost gift cards cannot be replaced without proof of purchase.


14. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who:

  • Displays disrespectful or aggressive behaviour

  • Exhibits unsafe or unhygienic conduct

  • Appears intoxicated or impaired in a way that affects safety or service quality


15. Privacy Policy

Client information is confidential and used only for booking, communication, and service purposes. We do not share your personal data with third parties without consent.
